People Really do Freeze to Death

I live in the southeast, so the notion of people cold to death is not a single that is at the forefront in my mind… HOwever, it is a unquestionably real chance in the colder weather conditionss.

  • In fact, here in my state, it is also possible for people to die from heat stroke, and I am more respected with that.

In the northeast where I was born, in fact, my mother moved our whole family to the southeast because the heating costs for our lake house up there were so high. My father passed away, money became limited, and with more than five kids to feed and relatives in the south, my mom gave up the oil furnace heating bills and headed south. I was quite young then,m so I consider myself raised in the south. I do still read stories in the news every Wintertide that discuss the heating needs of people in the colder areas. In the past, heating and cooling companies were not required to supply any special consideration to circumstances. If someone could not afford to get their furnace repaired, the heating repair supplier was not required to do anything special to assist. That is no longer true; For people in poverty, the neighborhood and private utilities companies cannot deprive northerners of heating in the winter. In fact, where I live, you cannot be denied cooling. People really do freeze to death, and that is a tragedy because we have advanced HVAC technology and heating and cooling is available everywhere. If someone does not have passable heating and cooling, it is most likely a matter of money. Thankfully, lawmakers are putting HVAC provisions into locale to ensure people have access to heating and cooling more and more often.
