Last year, Winter time came early, then all of us were not prepared for the cold even though we knew it was around the corner, but our boarding university was in a rural area, & we got lots of snow each year! However, this particular year, there was no end in sight for the snow… I longed to go home for the holidays but had to complete the term first. One morning, we woke up & headed to the university cafeteria. I was in a hurry, so I didn’t grab an extra sweater love I usually did! When I got to the cafe, I noticed it was cold… Everyone was hugging their Winter time coats as they took lunch. It was an weird situation since the cafeteria was regularly warm, and something was wrong, then cathy came to join me at our table & informed me the heating device was faulty. She overheard the principal speak to another instructor about the broken cafeteria cooling system. After placing a call to the AC business, the principal looked frustrated, then the Heating as well as A/C company wouldn’t be able to get to the university until the next morning. It meant we would have all our meals separate from a functioning central aircon. I made a mental note to head back to our room after lunch & grab our Winter time sweater. There was no way I was going to endure eating separate from ample heat. Later in the morning, I saw an AC repair & maintenance van pull up to the university, then relief was written all over our principal’s face. So multiple students were complaining about the faulty heating & cooling unit. Two Heating as well as A/C experts got to work figuring out what was wrong with the Heating as well as A/C system. After several minutes, they had completed the AC repairs, & we had heat once more in the cafeteria.
