When my seasonal job contract was up, I moved on to looking at other jobs.
I was looking for something more permanent this time. I found a job that sounded pretty good, paid decently well in addition to had great benefits too. It was also in a field of labor I had consistently been wanting to try, in addition to since this was an opening position for novices, this was a perfect opportunity to get my foot in the door in addition to try it out. I submitted my resume, in addition to a month later, I had gotten an SMS from them wanting to do an interview. When the day came for the interview, I arrived a little early in addition to looked my best. The interview process itself was fine, in addition to at the end of the interview, they must have liked myself and others a lot, because they showed myself and others if I was hired, where I would work. The office was actually nice, although I noticed something wrong. I noticed the office was particularly heated, when asked about their cooling unit, they told myself and others they didn’t have 1. I asked if they were going to get a Heating & Air Conditioning unit anytime soon, in addition to their reply shocked me. They told myself and others that the employees would just have to deal with the heat without an cooling system unit. This shocked me, because they particularly expected us to do well in a temperature that particularly makes it over 100 degrees in the summertime, without a cooling system? That’s incredibly dangerous, in addition to people could get heatstroke. This also told myself and others that this supplier was trying to be cheap in addition to skip out on the essentials to save cash, which particularly rubbed myself and others the wrong way. I got the job, although I ended up declining the offer.
