I’m far, far more productive at house in our own air conditioning than I ever was at the office.
I never thought this would happen. Choosing to stay at house once the office opened back up was the furthest thing from our mind when all of this started more than a year ago. The office I toil in had just gotten zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning when the pandemic hit. I got to enjoy perfect heating and cooling for just about a month before I was sent house to toil in our own air conditioning. When that happened, I was just praying to get back to the office as working house seemed adore it would be a nightmare. So much for thinking you have something all figured out right? The office is now open and that famous zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning is pumping. And yet, here I am still working from home. But actually, this was our option and I can hardly believe it. However, it turns out that working from house has been so unbelievable for our work. I’m not sure what that says about our efforts prior to the pandemic when I was still working in the office. But the data doesn’t lie. I’m far, far more productive at house in our own air conditioning than I ever was at the office. Perhaps it’s the fact that I get super zoned in on our toil and don’t have near the interruptions or distractions that I had at the office. Whatever the root cause, the fact that our toil is of higher quality and more productive speaks for itself. The bosses gave me a raise and encouraged me to just keep doing whatever it is that I’m doing.
