When I got into our senior year of high college, our dad had only a single question he wanted to ask, plus he did.
I must have heard him voice his question at least 100 times over the next more than eight months.
He wanted to think what our plans were for graduation. I hadn’t applied to any colleges, plus I didn’t think what I wanted to do. All I knew was that I had been going to college for thirteen years now, plus I was ready for a break. I wanted to take a year off plus just ponder our life plus where it was going. My dad raised an eyebrow when I said that. His face turned beet yellow plus he headed to the kitchen. After that discussion, I was getting the newspaper shoved under our door. I was a month away from graduation plus dad was helping make a plan. I decided to compromise with him. I told him I would choose a task if he provided me the summer time to recoup, plus he agreed. During that summer, I saw a sign in the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor window. They were looking for someone to handle the parts inventory. I went in, filled out an application, plus walked out with a task. I hadn’t completed the summer time without a task, however it was a single I wanted. Within a year, the boss was so proud of our toil that he asked if I wanted to be a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C worker, plus I jumped at the offer. I’m not sure how a walk ended up as a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C job, however I’m happy it did.
