Moving north and running the heating system non stop

My fiance and I both grew up in the deep south, and the two of us lived in an section where all of us relied on air conditioning for more than seven to 9 months out of the year.

The heat and humidity were a major concern, causing concerns with mold, mildew and corrosion.

There was no need for any style of heating system, but a work opportunity in the northeastern area of the country convinced us to move north, i was absolutely happy to see the changing of the colors of the leaves and experience snow. It always looked so appealing in the films. The two of us arrived in our new location in late September, and the weather was already freezing. I instantly turned up the temperature control in the home and was absolutely relieved when heat poured out of the vents… My fiance and I were a bit upset when the temperature dropped several degrees every week, however while the first snowfall was absolutely thrilling, it wore off absolutely hastily… By the middle of December, the temperature outside was down to negative twenty degrees with several feet of snow on the ground. The heating proposal running full blast and round-the-clock was sufficient to keep the home sizzling enough. I dreaded stepping outside. The two of us needed to shovel the walkway and driveway every single day and the task took several minutes. The two of us couldn’t go someplace without brushing snow off the car, scraping off of the windshield and letting the defrost run for twenty minutes. The two of us needed to invest in Winter boots, heavy coats, snow shovels, rock salt and so much Winter gear, however plus, with the heating system blasting, the air in the home was so dry that our hair was frizzy, our lips chapped and all of us got shocks off everything all of us touched. The two of us didn’t even make it a full year before all of us packed up and moved back south.
