When my partner and I bought our condo I fell in enjoy with the living room, however it has this big window that shows a view of the front yard, there are also several windows cutting a cement wall to show the side yard.
The windows are so big and tall, it legitimately makes the condo look costly, however my partner wasn’t happy with how visible both of us were.
She was quick to say both of us needed blinds or curtains. I didn’t want to drill holes in the wall, so curtains were out. I also don’t love the look of blinds. Have you ever cleaned blinds before? They are horrendous to clean. I needed a way to keep my windows but deliver my partner the privacy she wanted. I found a local company that does window film and tints, then a tint can be any color and they can make it so you can see outside or not. The window tints intrigued myself and others because I could match the condo if I wanted to. I have a grey condo with light green siding. I started playing around with white, green and grey tints to see what would look best. I actually settled on a chocolate window tint for our living room windows. It looks legitimately nice from outside. It makes us look love a costly condo with so various weird colors! From inside you can’t even tell there is a window tint on it. It wasn’t too costly and the company did an excellent job. I will just need to get them retinted after a few years.
