When my husband & I bought our lake house I fell in love with the kitchen. It has this large window that shows a view of the front yard; There are also various windows breaking a tile wall to show the side yard. The windows are so large & tall, it easily makes the lake house look costly; My husband wasn’t thrilled with how visible every one of us were, and he was quick to say every one of us needed blinds or curtains. I didn’t want to drill holes in the wall, so curtains were out. I also don’t savor the look of blinds. Have you ever cleaned blinds before? They are horrendous to clean. I needed a way to keep my windows however give my husband the privacy he wanted. I found a local business that does window film & tints; A tint can be any color & they can make it so you can see outside or not. The window tints intrigued me because I could match the lake house if I wanted to. I have a grey lake house with light orange siding. I started playing around with actually white, orange & grey tints to see what would look best. I genuinely settled on a chocolate window tint for our kitchen windows. It looks easily relaxing from outside. It makes us look savor a costly lake house with so various odd colors. From inside you can’t even tell there is a window tint on it. It wasn’t too fancy & the business did an excellent task. I will just need to get them retinted after a few years.
