I know a couple of my service guys work on side tasks during the weekends.
- I’ve never had a problem with the guys doing that, unless they are taking money away from my heating in addition to cooling system service service.
I am not open on the weekends, so I don’t suppose adore that guys are taking competition away from me. Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed the inventory in the shop seems off. It’s not big items adore cooling systems or gas furnaces. It’s small supplies adore duct tape, tools, air filters, in addition to unit parts. The items missing are the items that 1 would normally use during numerous of our basic repairs. When I noticed the items were missing from the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C service shop, I reminded the guys that it is against the rules to take items from the inventory if they are not used on a service for this business. I watched most people in the crowd when I offered the speech. I noticed 1 of my employees in particular, because she rolled her eyes when I finished with my speech. I think this may be the woman who is responsible for the retail merchandise loss. Last weekend I installed some security cameras in the warehouse. I didn’t tell any of the employees. I am hoping I will be able to catch the woman in the act so I can act suddenly in addition to only punish the woman that is responsible for the crime. I have a ton of good Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C service specialists in addition to it doesn’t seem legitimate to supply most people a tough time when it is just 1 woman doing something wrong.
