When our air conditioning component broke, I was upset about not being cool enough to rest or be comfortable.
I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company as soon as it quit working, however it took them nearly a week to get a serviceman to my home. It didn’t take long for me to notice that more than discomfort was happening separate from a working air conditioning unit. I observed mold forming on my windows and on the sills. There was mold in the bathroom and in the closet. Not only was there mold, although I started to notice a hacking cough and my eyep were watery. I talked to my doctor, thinking it was dust sensitivities. After discussing the lack of air conditioning, she told me it could be the mold. She proposed I find anywhere else to stay until my air conditioning component could be repaired. I hated the system of leaving my home, although I knew it was a health issue that I may not be able to reverse since I already had asthma. I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company and told them about my health and how I needed to have an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman to the beach house as soon as humanly possible. When they heard about my health troubles, they upgraded my service to an emergency and made sure to get my air conditioning repaired within several days and not a week. I then had to get someone into the beach house to remediate the mold before I could go back into the house. It was horrible not being in the house, although I understood why it was necessary.
