I have a dining room that has the most stunning floor.
The previous owner took seaglass plus laid it all on wood flooring so that it made almost a wave pattern.
They then took epoxy plus poured it over the glass to make a smooth, clear finish. For years I loved that portion of the house. I even got a table that was colored similar to it. Well epoxy does not last forever. Moving my table around on the floor, the chairs going in plus out plus people walking across it create use and abuse, then certain spots looked dingy plus others had scratches on them. I am not artistic or handy in any way. I knew that epoxy could be reapplied to make the floors look new, but I just did not have the skills. I hunted around online and found a commercial plus residential cleaning supplier. That can handle stained grout, gross rugs, pressure washing plus they refinish floors. They do epoxy floor updates plus restoration. After giving my floor plus even my table a facelift, the dining room looks that much better. I can see all the pieces of the sea glass again plus it is just beautiful. I was sad that I would need to cover my stunning floors with a rug in order to protect them! Knowing there is a supplier that can do the epoxy abruptly plus quite cheaply, I can make my floors look normal plus just get them patched when needed. I know next time I hire them I will have them continue in my study room space plus clean up the grout lines on my cement floors.
