My boss really isn’t a fan of medical marijuana. When I got my job, he asked if I could pass a drug test. I told the guy that I could, but that was a lie. He never gave me a drug test, and the whole practice never came up again. I never use medical marijuana when I am on the job. Even though it would be absolutely helpful, I never show up under the influence when I have to work on heat pump and air conditioner repairs. I use medical marijuana when I come home from work every afternoon. I overheard a couple of people talking last week and one of those people was my boss. They were discussing the current laws regarding marijuana and it seems clear that my boss still had the same opinion. I haven’t really told anyone at the heat pump and air conditioner repair service about my new medical prescription. I am honestly afraid that my boss might fire me if he knew. I don’t believe that afternoon smoking has any effect on my daytime work. I still perform more repairs than anyone else in the company and I can install a heat pump and air conditioner in 7 hours by myself. That is a really good time compared to some of the other guys in the company. If I wasn’t filled with anxiety and pain all day at work, I could probably complete even more than I do now. I would never say that to my boss though, because that would raise more questions.
