When I called in to turn in a new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C idea from a radio program contest a couple of weeks ago, I had no delusions that I was going to win.
I never win anything so I couldn’t even guess that I got through in the first arena to even be able to talk to the radio show host.
However, I guess that luck was certainly with myself and others that morning because when I went to call into the radio show, I was the first caller and I ended up getting to talk to the host. I was so shocked that I got through on the call that I was stammering and stuttering through all of our words. When I listened to the playback of the show, I sounded certainly worried and deranged. However, somehow I was able to answer all of his questions correctly, and I ended up winning the grand prize that they were giving away. It turned out that the sponsor for the contest was a single of our local heating and cooling dealers here in town. The grand prize ended up being a high efficiency heating and cooling system. They were even offering free replacement for the heating and cooling system. I could not guess our luck! Seeing as how this was the only thing that I had ever won in our life, it was extra special for myself and others whenever the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business showed up in our driveway to install the new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. I still can hardly guess that I am the winner of this superb prize.
