It’s already supposed to be entirely warm outside, and when I watched the weather this morning they said that it was going to be in the high 80s on the day of the get-together.
I don’t suppose what the issue is with our cooling system, but I can’t get it to turn on for some reason. This could not have happened at a worse time for me, since the weather is entirely heating up outside and all of us have guests coming in from out of neighborhood for a big get-together that all of us are supposed to throw this weekend. We’re supposed to be having a graduation get-together, and our oldest child has been planning it for about two weeks now. There are going to be about 150 people milling in and around our house inside and in the backyard, and now our central air conditioner isn’t laboring. I undoubtedly don’t suppose what I’m going to do at this point. I don’t suppose if I’m going to be able to make it through a many hour get-together with tons of house guests on the hottest day of the year so far if I don’t have a laboring cooling system! I called up our local Heating and Air Conditioning contractor to see if they had any appointments, however they are booked up solid for today. I asked them if they could put me on the schedule for anyone who may have canceled, or for first thing in the morning. They said that they would try to work me in, and I’m entirely keeping our fingers crossed that they are able to come out and repair the cooling system today.
