My husband just got a really big promotion at work, and that means that we are going to be moving to a new city really soon.
- I am actually pretty excited about moving to a new city because I am honestly kind of sick of it here.
Things have started to get really old around here and I think that a change of scenery will really be able to do us both some good. I am also really proud of my husband for working hard and getting this promotion that he really wanted. He is really going to be moving up in the company and with the salary bump that he got, we are going to be able to get any kind of a house that we want whenever we move. I am looking forward to having a larger house with a guest room and a wood burning fireplace. Most of all, I am looking forward to getting a place with a better heating, cooling, and ventilation system than the one that we have now. The heating and cooling system in our current house is just terrible and the bills for the air conditioning and heating are ridiculous. Sometimes I can’t believe that we have even lasted here for as long as we have. I told my husband that whenever we move, I would like for the new house to have radiant heated flooring throughout the entire house, but I could also deal with just having it in the master bedroom and the bathrooms. I would also love to have a high efficiency air conditioning system in the new house, too.
