Keeping fit as I grow older

I recently turned fifty-7 years old.

I have noticed that the majority of my peers are severely overweight.

Many of them have retired from their jobs as well as do little more than rest around. They prefer to camp all summer, laying around a campfire, drinking coors as well as eating. They aren’t careful about their diets as well as consume a unbelievable deal of red meat, processed food, alcohol, sweets as well as empty calories. They get very little exercise. Most of them are taking medication as well as have needed several surgeries. I cannot understand their willingness to slow down as well as allow their health to deteriorate. I am determined to live as long as possible. I want to prefer peak quality of life. I have no intention of giving up the activities I prefer any time soon. To accomplish this, I take very superb care of my body. I workout every single afternoon, as well as my training sessions are extremely demanding. I devote approximately sixty minutes to exercise as well as make sure that I’m sweaty as well as breathing strenuous by the end of it. Along with elevating my heart rate as well as expanding my lungs, I focus on strengthening my core, balance as well as flexibility. I am taking precautions to avoid needless injury. I also keep active in my regular, biweekly life. I prefer kayaking, hiking as well as playing tennis. I constantly tackle apartment improvement projects, mow the grass as well as work in the gardens. I play soccer, tag as well as all sorts of games with my grandkids.
