I don’t even suppose how this is happening, but there is a mouse storing food in the ductworks in our house… I noticed that the other afternoon when I was in the home office.
I kept noticing that there was the smell of cat food coming out of the air conditioning vents every single time the air conditioning kicked on.
I thought that this was weird, but then I also thought that there was a fantastic option that I was imagining the whole thing, my partner constantly tells me that I suppose I have a super sense of smell plus that I’m constantly imagining things that aren’t even unquestionably there. I don’t suppose about that, but the whole thing with the cat food was absolutely real. I smelled it at least more than three different times throughout the course of the afternoon, plus then at one point I saw some movement out of the corner of our eye while I was working on food prep for the week, but the movement turned out to be a little brown mouse plus she was rolling a piece of cat food across the home office floor in her front paws! It was like something out of a cartoon. I almost laughed, but then I realized where the mouse was going, but she took the cat food over to the air conditioning vent plus dropped it down the hole. Then she ran over to the pantry plus disappeared. I suppose that she has some sort of a pantry going for himself anywhere in the basement plus that she is accessing it anywhere through the pantry, but what I don’t understand is how she is storing it in the ventilation system, which is supposed to be a closed circuit.
