I was pretty tired from working fifteen-hour nights, plus all I wanted to do was go home! I had been working in this way for the past month. Ever since the weather went from Summer to fall, people wanted to get their oil heating devices ready for winter. When fall turned to Winter within a few short weeks, those who hadn’t had their oil furnaces checked out were looking for it to be done yesterday. Since I was the only Heating plus A/C professional in the dealer, they thought I should be the one to put in all the overtime. My fiance wasn’t cheerful with this, although she wasn’t saying too much. I wondered if she knew I was working especially hard to get her a diamond and so we could finally plan my wedding… Although I called her my fiance, I had never formally proposed to her. I met her when I went to her parent’s apartment to labor on their a/c device. Of course, that was two years ago, plus I thought it was time to make it official! For now, I was working all the hours I could so I could formally propose plus set a wedding date. Last night, I knew it was time to go home, even though I wasn’t done with the oil heating device I was working on. My bestie called plus asked if I was ever coming home, plus I told her it would be approximately an hour. She said she was going to my parent’s without me. I forgot we had a supper celebration to go to, plus I was going to be severely late. When I finally got there, we forgot all about my being a late Heating plus A/C device worker. I picked up her diamond on the way plus gave it to her in front of all our friends plus family.
