The heating and AC tech roommate shut the door

Life hasn’t been easy lately and I’m learning to be patient with them all for the most part.

I look at some of my married friends and feel left out of the loop as I have no children and no spouse.

Their lives are filled with all of this togetherness while most of my time is spent alone. But it won’t be like this forever and I must learn to love the peace and quiet more than I do. Sometimes I feel lonely but in reality I’m just alone, and my Heating & A/C tech roommate coming home reminds me that I’m really not all alone. She works four days a week for the corporation in the city and she and I have a good relationship, working together most of the time to solve issues in the flat with things like broken water boilers and gross floors. Last night we accidentally shut the lavatory door and the cats relieved themselves in the family room sink. The bad things couldn’t get to their lavatory because my Heating & A/C tech roommate shut the door to their litter box room, which is my lavatory. They were trying to be polite though and went in the sink because it kind of resembles a litter box. They appreciate hanging out on the whole house air purification system most of the time, unless they are in my office sitting on my lap while I write my HVAC stories. Right now my little kitty is nestled on my legs while I do this work.
