Our local heating and air conditioning company did something a few months ago that I thought was totally awesome! They sponsored a car race track locally.
They had a race show, and everyone who bought tickets was given a free heating and air conditioning system tune up, and the cost of the tickets all went to the feed the hungry charity.
This was very noble of the local heating and air conditioning company. I bought 5 tickets actually. 4 for my family and 1 for my friend. The race car show was great and we all enjoyed it. I personally also enjoyed knowing that the heating and air conditioning company was giving all proceeds to a great cause to actually help people. There are not many heating and air conditioning companies that are big enough to be able to do something like this. But our local heating and air conditioning company has been in business for several years and built up quite a client base. They are the closest thing to a commercial franchise in the heating and air conditioning business in my opinion. Oh and I also loved getting the free heating and air conditioning tune up and check up as well. I sometimes forget to have an HVAC tune up done on my own. So the fact that it was free and I had a voucher reminded me to do so. The race charity was for sure the most awesome thing our city has seen in some time! Who knows what the heat and a/c company will do next.
