The heated floors don’t work after a month

Everything I read online about heated flooring sounded too good to be true.

You get an efficient, silent and clean heating system that all is hidden under the floors.

I also read that hardly any maintenance is needed for the heater. I figured that is great since the heating system will be trapped under my tile floors and not easy to access. I went right away and purchased the electric heated mats. Well, I should have figured you get what you pay for. I didn’t buy the heating equipment from a HVAC company. I didn’t even buy it from a hardware store. I found the electric heating equipment cheap from a seller online. I then decided to do my own radiant flooring installation. I read online that it was easy to do and it was! I then laid tile over top and sealed in my radiant heating system. Something has happened to my radiant flooring. They worked for about a month and were awesome. Now my radiant floors won’t turn on. Did I have a short and blow a fuse? Did I hook up my heating system inefficiently? Did buying a reduced cost system cause the problem? I guess it doesn’t matter what the issue is, I don’t have heated flooring anymore. I could get a HVAC contractor over, but he would have to rip up my brand new tile to access it. So now I am looking at adding more wiring or piping to have working heat. My house is going to look horrible now! I spent all that money for nothing.
