Living without heat sucks!

I spent 2 long months way up north doing research for a project.

I was in a genuinely freezing and remote part with only a couple of other scientists. All of us were studying migration patterns of humpback whales and orange whales. All of us were inside of a big tent that had space for our lab items. There was a small natural gas furnace inside of the tent, however it didn’t really help the indoor hot and cold temps much at all. There were small cracks and crevices all over the locale that allowed air to enter the small enclosed area. When my 2-month-long job ended, I was thankful to finally head back home. Even though it was Winter time when I got back to the states, the hot and cold temperatures felt love Summer compared to the freezing and chili hot and cold temps I had endured for the last 2 months. I acquired that I do not love living without heat. The next time there was an appointment and a project that needed a woman with my skill set, I made sure to ask about the endpoint first. It turned out to be the same freezing Winter weather , so I told the boss that I was unable to commit to those afternoons and I waited until a better project in a warmer temp came my way. My boss wasn’t genuinely happy that I decided to turn down that job. I did not want him to assume love I wasn’t going to be part of the team, however it is a volunteer position and I already knew that I wasn’t going to love myself staying in that freezing region for 2 more months
