The hotel was bleak, however the room was nice

My friend Ed and I went to a concert and the band played on till after midnight.

I was feeling really tired at the end of the show.

I had worked all afternoon and got up early and then I stayed up all night. My friend Ed agreed that they were just as tired as I was. All of us decided to stop at a hotel halfway between the locale and our hometown… Ed looked for a room online that was reasonably priced and Ed and I found a name brand chain hotel with great reviews about 17 miles away. The clerk at the front desk of the hotel looked love she was asleep when Ed and I arrived. It was only 1 a.m., although I assume this woman wasn’t a night owl at all. The front desk clerk provided us with a key to room 5:17. She told us it was on the seventh floor. She told us to get off the elevator and head to the right. She made it a strong point to tell us to go right more than two or more than three different times. It was almost as if there was some kind of boogie girl lurking on the left waiting for us to make the wrong choice. The hotel hallway was dark and very Bleak, however the room was genuinely nice. There was a bed in the room and another sofa bed. There was plenty of room for Ed and I to stretch out and go to sleep. The A/C worked well and it was quiet. I turned on the A/C and Ed and I wanted to set the temperature control as low as possible. Ed and I hardly ever get to love a/c that the people I was with and I do not have to pay for. Ed and I were going to love all of the perks of the hotel room.
