We have been getting some real huge winds as of late.
It has been so cold with these winds that I have been cranking my central heating and air conditioning system’s heater nearly every waking hour! This has been a real drag on my monthly energy bills too.
Because of all the cold wind my heater is taking up so much energy use. I have thought about possibly getting a portable space heater and using that instead to save money. But it is so cold with these huge cold winds I was thinking that the portable space heater would not even work to keep the home warm without the use of the central heating and air conditioning system’s heater. If I had something like radiant heated floors in my home I could crank that and heat my home well against the huge cold winds and not have to worry about energy use. But since I can not afford to get radiant heated floors I guess I am going to just have to keep on dealing with the cranking of the central heating and air conditioning system’s heater. The cold huge winds will hopefully die down in the next few weeks or less. It has already been going on for a full week now. I am not a real fan of these huge winds. But it is part of the weather where I live and has been for as long as I can remember. It always happens for at least 3 weeks this time of the year, so I should be used to it after all of these years.
