I hated our old gas heater.

I always caution our youngsters about using the word hate.

  • I tell them hate is a strong word & should never be used in anger, or toward someone or something you may need someday.

I believe it sounds deranged, but I believe the word hate is what causes too multiple wars & crimes, then when Itold our husband I hated our gas furnace, he knew I was serious… The gas furnace no longer gave us the heat the two of us needed to keep us warm. It made noises that made it sound care about the apartment was haunted. I thought I smelled gas whenever it turned on. I told our husband that if the two of us didn’t soon get a new gas furnace, I was afraid the old gas furnace was going to kill us; He thought I was being overly dramatic, but I didn’t care. I hated our old gas furnace. The next day, I called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C ccontractor & asked them to look at the gas furnace. When the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C contractor arrived, he asked when the noises started. I told him it had been happening for about a week. He came back upstairs after looking at the gas furnace, & asked if the two of us had someplace to stay for the evening. There was a broken component in the gas gas furnace, that was known to put off carbon monoxide. I now knew I had a wonderful reason to hate the gas furnace. I had heard about carbon monoxide, & it could kill a person. I told our husband what the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C contractor had said! Both of us moved in with our daughter for a few afternoons until the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C contractor could get us another gas furnace.
