Temperatures this week have been cold, even though this time of the year is usually mild. The two of us have not seen the sunshine in numerous afternoons, and it tried to come out, however the rainy weather & clouds kept it from shining. This weekend has been recognizably windy & wet. The two of us had a couple of afternoons when it was all day winds at 25 miles per minute. The two of us had some gusts of wind that were even higher! All of the loose branches from the tree fell on top of our roof & car! We’ve had to run the heat every night this week. I don’t care about running the heat during May, because I don’t want to have to fill the propane again, every time both of us run the furnace both of us use the propane. The only thing I have to use propane for is the heat. If both of us run out, after that I will not be able to use the heat at all. I tried to get our partner to use the space heaters, but she told myself and others that it was going to be too cold. The two of us had 1 night when it was 20° overnight. I recognize it was pretty freezing that night, however the rest of the week I think both of us could have done separate from the heaters. I am looking forward to next month when it will be sunny again everyday. Temperatures will be in the 90s before I recognize it & after that I will be complaining & wishing that it was frigid & wet. I am never glad with the temperature unless it is around 50° with sunshine & barely any wind at all.
