Amusingly, I am pretty sure my dog doesn’t like my new heating system.
Last week I bought a space furnace. The idea behind getting the space heater was to add it to my room for additional warmth. For whatever reason, my room always seems to be the coldest in the house. I hoped that by getting an area heater, that would change and the days of my room being chilly would be over. The only issue is that my dog absolutely loves my room, and me for that matter. When I set up the new space heater, my dog wasn’t around. When he strolled in my room and noticed the new HVAC addition, he admittedly tensed and started growling at it. I guess he thought it was an intruder or something. I’m not sure why he targeted the heating machine, since I add new things to my home all of the time without much of a reaction from him. Maybe it was the strange noise it is making. I don’t know, but every time he comes into my room, he stops to growl at it for a little while, before laying down not too far off and staring at it suspiciously. I find this humorous, and even though I showed him multiple times that the heating machine is not a threat, he doesn’t seem to fully believe me. Well unfortunately for him, the furnace system works well in my room and so it is going to stay, and it is just something he is going to have to get used to.
