I called the Heating plus A/C machine company plus asked what the difference was between a Nest temperature control plus a smart temperature control? Instead of giving me a good answer, I was told the Nest temperature control was simply better. I wasn’t sure if this person was right, so I did my research! A nest temperature control was used in conjunction with other Amazon products that help to create a smart integrated residence. When you say, ‘Alexa turn this on or off’, the nest temperature control can also respond. The nest temperature control can be regulated by voice commands as long as you say Alexa first. I wasn’t into this style of voice commands in my residence. My dogs, cats, nor youngsters respond to my voice commands, so there was no reason to assume my temperature control should be doing that. I wasn’t interested in smart temperature controls either. I didn’t travel plus I didn’t need to be thinking about having a temperature control that would notify the Heating plus A/C machine company, fire company, or police if there was a drawback at my residence. I was a stay-at-household mother of three kids under the age of five. Their shouts would alert me to a concern more abruptly than the smart temperature control would. I was trying to find a straight-up digital temperature control that I could program to come on plus go off at times of the afternoon. If it gets too warm or too icy in the house, I know how to easily stand up plus walk. I honestly stand up plus walk to the temperature control plus change the temperature anyway these days. It seems to me that smart temperature controls plus nest temperature controls are for the most lazy people in modern times, plus I don’t have the luxury of being lazy.
