I always like to read about small claims court cases.
And one I read about recently was rather interesting.
There was someone suing a heating & a/c company because when they came out to their location to do a heat & cooling system tune up & check up they ended up totally destroying their central heating & a/c unit! And to make matters worse they refused to pay for it or replace it. This heating & a/c company must have been some shady folks or amatures or something like that. The fact that they even could break someone’s central heating & a/c component makes it show that they do not know the inner workings of a central heating & cooling component & should not even be working in the heat & cooling system business. Needless to say the lady suing them won the case & on top of that, the heating & a/c company lost their license to practice heating & cooling apartment services & are in the middle of trying to sell their company & recoup the losses that they will have coming. It serves them right in my humble opinion. If they had replaced the central heating & a/c component they broke in the first location & not refused, no one would even know about this & they would still be in company this week! I feel it just goes to show that some folks just do not know great company practices, however oh well..moving on.
