Need to buy more food before I fix the AC

This weekend I am running out to buy food and everything in my flat.

I live in a flat, unlike many of my older buddies who bought their own houses, but I decided I didn’t want to own a house again as it takes up too much of my time and money, and a part of me feels like I am missing out because some of these guys have amazing homes on the mountaintop with killer views, while I look out my window to see an old building next to me.

But it is easy to compare your life and know it falls very short, like Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems in the stores, you can typically find a better 1 than you have and you’ll typically feel like you don’t have enough. I find myself comparing my life to the lives of others, either consciously or subconsciously, and I typically feel like they are better off than I am. My HEPA filter salesman told me, one day while working on an old Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, that it is a losing battle comparing yourself to others. He was correct about that and I am trying to learn to love what I have. Anyway, today I need to go shopping at the local corporation because I haven’t shopped in like over a week and am running low on all of my refrigerated foods and cat litter. I spend about $75 a week on food, which is pretty darn affordable if you compare it to the food in the States, however maybe I shouldn’t be comparing! I know that I should go and wash my heating system filter and mind my own business.
