Easter was just two mornings ago and I got some photos from mom back home.
Mama hosted a big family dinner and set pics of the family who came and it made me feel kind of morose that I wasn’t there too.
But I don’t want to keep beating myself up for moving overseas to pursue my dreams of music stardom. I have to feel that I came here for a reason and if I feel like the dream isn’t going to become a reality then I can move back to the States and start life over there again. I am working for this local corporation here overseas while pursuing my dream of playing and singing in a local band and traveling around doing shows in local corporations and clubs. My nice friends and I are still trying to find our voice and are getting closer, however we still need some time to get it down pat. I am working as an Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech for a few hours a day in the store and then I spend the rest of my time practicing the drums and writing new songs in cafes and sporadically in the heating corp. When it is absolutely slow in the store I go into the back room and do some songwriting for a while, as it is usually quiet and I can know better. I install ductless heat pumps in homes and corporations in town, and sporadically I do some air duct cleaning with my other friends who work at the shop. I need to keep working for this company for a few more years while we labor on our band and make some new and current songs.
