My boiler was emitting the strangest stink

I have a high sensitivity to stinks & stinks.

It’s difficult for me to deal with people who use lots of perfume or cologne because I can stink it absolutely easily.

It starts to bother my sinuses & will periodically give me a headache. When I worked in an assisted living facility, you had be amazed by the amount of older ladies that would regularly be bathing in perfume every night when they would come to the entryway. I feel awful on one hand because it was the end of their life & they were doing whatever they could to feel normal. Worse than perfume is genuinely secondhand smoke. My coworkers at that task were almost all smokers. So whenever my pal and I would go on our labor breaks, they would be smoking around me. That would actually aggravate my dust sensitivities every single time… Recently even my boiler was admitting a weird stink. I thought maybe my boiler was getting ready to break, however when I called the heating & cooling company & asked about it, they told me it was normal. They told me that boilers give off weird stinks after they have been sitting for a while & have not been used. After you’ve run the boiler to burn off the microbial buildup on the heating coil, the weird stink disappears. I was relieved once I had the boiler on for 2 hours because by then the order was gone, and next time my boiler has a weird stink again, I do not think I am going to get nearly as uneasy as I did this time.
