We purchased a apartment that had the perfect central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit, in a city where the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier runs condo services so we thought it’d be a trouble-free life. We were wrong and too hopeful. We had tied up the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair to happen a few mornings after we moved in and the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional dropped the bomb that the air duct needed some repairs because it had points of weakness that were causing air leaks. We paid for the Ac repair but for the ducts only but the bill in two months kept going higher and on mentioning it to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman, she said that it’s likely that the air duct repairs were not enough and a replacement would help. It also explained why our Ac filter seemed to always be too dirty and the air quality especially in the rooms farthest from the air conditioner was so exhausting that it triggered dust sensitivities; For the sake of our air conditioner and to get satisfactory help with indoor comfort, we agreed to do the full replacement. We had an infant then and the most logical way the ducts could be changed without affecting the child was if my wife was left in the apartment while the rest of us moved to my parent’s apartment until everything settled down. I did not know how long it would take, but to keep sane in case it took too long, we had to go away. It took four mornings because they had to remove the seasoned and disfigurementd ducts and install the new ones and insulate them enough to ensure we wouldn’t be having any risks of leakage. I stayed away for a week and we are all glad to have handled that problem earlier in our transfer than later.
