Two years ago, my sister plus her bestie signed a lease to a 2-entryway towncondo in the southwest portion of the country.
And if you know anything about this region, you’re aware that the weather can be unforgiving while in the warmer months. In fact, while in the month of July, the weather can escalate into the triple digits. And of course, when the weather is that hot, people depend on air conditioner to remain cool plus comfortable inside their homes. Well, when my sister plus her bestie signed their lease, they had no idea that the condo that they rented did not have a working Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C unit. Actually, the unit would turn on plus it would blow air, however the air was so boiling that inside their apartment felt like a furnace on boiling afternoons. The studying on the thermostat hovered between 84 plus 86 depending on how boiling the day was. Those temperatures might be ok while in the day if the condo is empty or if you’re not doing something like cooking in the entryway. But at evening, if the indoor temperature is 84 degrees, that is a miserable evening of sleep. If you manage to get any rest, you’ll absolutely wake up drenched in sweat. Of course, they did what they could to rectify the issue including complaining to the landlord, however to no avail. After months of having no air conditioner, they decided to purchase a portable air conditioner. While this was a temporary fix, the portable air conditioner was not the ideal unit to keep an entire condo cool! Eventually, they ended up chopping their lease plus moved into a modern arena that has the best air conditioner.
