You know there comes a time when you just don’t understand anything, anymore; My parents are prime examples of it & to be honest, I’m sure it happens to almost everyone at a certain period in their life.
I’m not sure if I’m ready to fall behind the times but there will be a morning when I’m behind trying to understand whatever technology is before me at that moment. It absolutely will be artificial intelligence but who knows? I’m just going to live my life, the life I have right now today & not know about the future & what it holds. My dad recently had her HVAC system upgraded by the heating & cooling dealer… The thing about my dad is that she can be talked into anything if it makes her life easier. It’s funny because she always has the intention of whatever she purchases to make her life easier, but then shortly after finds out she doesn’t entirely understand what she just bought. So the HVAC dealer, outside of installing a current HVAC system, installed a smart control unit. My dad came out blissful & talked to all her friends at the Tim Hortons Latte shop about this current tech she got. Shortly after, she found himself over her head, confused, not understanding how it works, but she had one of those dial control units for years so when it came to this upgrade, it seemed alien to him. I wish she talked to me first because then she wouldn’t be in this boat but now I have to deal with teaching him how to use it properly.
