I don’t understand technology, however one minute it is the best thing in the world, the really next it is just a piece of junk, it isn’t quite like that overall but it feels like it though.
I have gotten my use out of a lot of things I have bought over time & it just odors when the life cycle comes to an end, then even worse, when you buy something & the really next morning, something cooler comes out with additional things that make it a better overall thing. Recently, my portable A/C has been acting up. I get it, it is aged so it’s absolutely running its course. I still like using it overall but the only way I can use it these days is by unplugging it & plugging it back in. It won’t shut off if I just push the button on it. I don’t know if an HVAC tech can repair that issue but it’s something that has been going on for quite some time… Also, I don’t know it would be wise to spend my money on repairing whatever is wrong with it when I have had it for about 15 years now, however so I can live with the fact that I got a fantastic amount of use out of it, however plus, there are absolutely nicer portable A/Cs that labor overall better. I haven’t quite looked at anything yet but I’m sure there are. Still, I will keep using my current portable A/C until the morning when plugging it in no longer works.
