When I got into my most recent car accident, I was devastated.
- I totaled my car, but since the accident was technically my fault, my insurance didn’t cover the replacement of my car.
That meant that I would have to find a new car, and since I didn’t have a lot of money, I was probably going to have to purchase a cheaper used car. However, the main reason that I was sad about wrecking the car was the air conditioner that I literally just purchased for the car. When I bought the car that I just wrecked, the air conditioner wasn’t working. I drove the car without an air conditioner for one summer, and that was long enough to convince me that I was going to have to pay a mechanic to fix the air conditioner in my car. It was very hot during the day, and without the air conditioner, I was literally pouring down sweat. It especially was terrible when I was wearing nice clothes in a car without an air conditioner. Sure, it was expensive to get the air conditioner replaced, but I knew that having an air conditioner would be worth the cost. However, I only got to use the air conditioner for one week before I wrecked my car, and I was still making payments to the mechanic for the air conditioner while I was trying to buy my new car. It was terrible. Thankfully, the car that I am planning to buy has an air conditioner, because I definitely wouldn’t want to pay for the repair of both air conditioners at the same time.
