Last week, I decided that it was time to take things into my own hands. I was tired of hearing my fiance complaining about the air conditioning not running the way it once had. I can’t say she is a nag, but when it is too boiling to be comfortable, that is how she sounds. I will admit that she had been putting up with little to no air conditioning for almost two weeks. I told her I would get to it when I had the chance, i had changed the air filter, but it didn’t make a difference. I was sure there was a problem with the fan motor. I had a task to do, and I had to put it ahead of my home. All of us were in the middle of a heatwave and I had a lot of shoppers that needed repairs made to their air conditioning units. It would have been unusual if I weren’t an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C expert. Whenever there is a problem with an air conditioning unit, even at night, I get called to diagnose the problem and repair it. When I get home, I just want to get some rest before getting called out on another repair task. My own Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repairs end up being put off until I have a morning off. I hadn’t had a morning off for a little over several weeks. I had finally had a morning off last week. I already had a spare fan motor in my service van. It didn’t take long to repair the A/C unit, and I saw my fiance smiling for the first time in multiple weeks.
