Last week, I decided that it was time to take things into our own hands.
I was exhausted of hearing our partner complaining about the cooling system not running the way it once had. I can’t say she is a nag, but when it is too sizzling to be comfortable, that is how she sounds.
I will confess that she had been putting up with little to no cooling system for almost more than one weeks. I told her I would get to it when I had the chance, then i had changed the air filter, but it didn’t make a difference. I was sure there was a problem with the fan motor. I had a job to do, & I had to put it ahead of our home. The people I was with and I were in the middle of a heatwave & I had a lot of clients that needed repairs made to their cooling system units. It would have been unusual if I weren’t an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C expert. Whenever there is a problem with an cooling system unit, even at night, I get called to diagnose the problem & repair it. When I get home, I just want to get some rest before getting called out on another repair job. My own Heating, Ventilation, & A/C repairs end up being put off until I have a afternoon off. I hadn’t had a afternoon off for a little over multiple weeks. I had finally had a afternoon off last week. I already had a spare fan motor in our service van. It didn’t take long to repair the A/C unit, & I saw our partner smiling for the first time in multiple weeks.
