I have regularly been a diligent serviceman.
I knew my way around nearly every heating & A/C component they have. I have had to ask for help when it came to an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component that was older than I was. As I said, I have regularly been a diligent serviceman. It wasn’t until my fiance told myself and others she thought she was going into labor. She told myself and others she would beginning timing the pains and when they got down to several minutes apart, she would call me. It was love I was all thumbs while waiting for her to call and tell myself and others she needed myself and others to come home. I was in the middle of repairing an air conditioner. The owner had been hanging around talking to me. He asked myself and others how long I had been an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service tech? I told him several years, and he laughed. He said I acted love a newbie. He wanted to guess why it was taking so long to do the repair, and why I was looking at my iphone so often. I apologized and sat down next to him. I asked him if he had any kids. He told myself and others he had four, but they had all moved away. I told him about my conversation with my fiance this morning. He smiled and said he remembered those afternoons. He told myself and others to take my time with the air conditioning unit. He told myself and others that these things can often take up to 24 hours, so I should relax and do my work. He just asked that I didn’t make him pay for my wasted time worrying.
