I tried Call a Lawyer and ended up laughing.

I was hoping to get some legal advice when I picked up the phone.

The ad offered one free hour of legal advice on any legal matter a person may have.

It took me nearly twenty minutes just to get through to a secretary. She took all of my personal information and she also asked what I was calling about. After talking to her about my personal legal problem, she said she would hand the information over to one of their in-office lawyers. An hour later, I was on the phone to one paralegal in the law firm. They asked me what kind of legal advice I needed. I told them I had told them about my legal problem when I talked to the secretary. The paralegal told me she wanted more information so she could get me the legal advice that is most pertinent to my situation. I talked to the paralegal for almost half an hour before she told me she would need to turn my case over to the lawyer that suited my situation. I didn’t know if I wanted to be upset or laugh at how quickly I was being handed over from one person to another. It seemed like I was on a legal ladder as I kept getting higher up just for some simple legal advice. The following day, I finally got a phone call from a lawyer. When I told him what was going on, I asked if he could give me a bit of legal advice. His office was in a city that was almost 100 miles away. He told me would gladly give me free legal advice if I wanted to make an appointment with his secretary.
