A long time ago I lived in a house that had the most odd set up when it came to the central heating and air conditioning system.
The way that the central heating and air conditioning system was installed into the house, they had the place where you changed the air filters in the garage! What an odd thing! I had never to this day again seen a central heating and air conditioning system in a home that required the air filter change in the garage.
It was actually quite a hassle at times. Cause if I needed to change my air filter late at night, I could not do it in the comfort of my own home. I had to put on clothes and trot out to the garage and fumble around with a flashlight because there was no light in the garage other than if you opened the garage door! Thankfully I didn’t live in an area that had deadly creatures that could be in your garage like it is with scorpions in the southwestern part of the united states of america (which is where a good friend of mine lives). It was safe, it is just that it was a major pain in the rear most of the time. I certainly hope I never experience that kind of central heating and air conditioning system set up again. I probably won’t because I own my home where I live now and plan on being here for life. Also my central heating and air conditioning system is one of the most up to date and best on the HVAC market today!
