Missing my mother in law, an angel on earth

Things have been very difficult since the passing of my mother in law. We were always really close ever since the first time we spoke to each other. We laughed at jokes and things just went smoothly. I appreciate how she welcomed me to the family and I even loved her good cooking. Sadly, she got cancer at a late stage when it was diagnosed. The doctor visits were always terrible and uncomfortable. The one thing that I hate and I know she didn’t like was the fact that they always crank the A/C system as much as they can. I wished that we could have done some sort of natural treatment outside the hospital, but the cancer treatments are very limited. Eventually, she passed away and I know this killed my wife inside. I mean, it broke all of our hearts that she was taken from this world so soon, but we do believe that she is in paradise now. No more pain, that’s what I like to think. I remember all the wonderful times we shared together. She even tried to teach me how to play card games like pinnacle, but I was always more of a spades player. We also seemed to prefer the same temperature control settings while hanging out. I always said 71 degrees was the most comfortable setting and she easily agreed. My wife always said 74 is the best in the warm season and she said it’s great to save money on the energy bills that way. I know that my mother in law and I both agreed that it was better to have good comfort than to try to save a little amount of money.
