I sat in the office chair crying my eyes out.
I could not believe that this day had finally come, the adoption process was finally over and we could finally take our girl home.
It would be a week of finalizing the paperwork work and then Zenia would be home with us. Everything in the house was ready for our three-year-old Zenia. The only thing that remained was to call the homeowner solutions business for an air duct cleaning. This is because Zenia’s medical records showed that she had acute bronchitis and so we had to ensure that the indoor air quality would always be at its best. We were also going to change the number of times we replaced the furnace filter from three times a year to five or six times a year. Even though the quality HVAC system we had had an inbuilt indoor air cleaning system and the best air filter we could get, we felt it was necessary to get an air purification system for Zenia’s sake. The HVAC professional came on a Wednesday for the ac care and cleaning the same day the new equipment from the HVAC supplier arrived. The whole week I was walking on cloud nine, I was so excited but I was still a little nervous when I thought of how Zenia would react when she got her new home. The cooling specialist also replaced the air filter which was three months old. The only thing in our ac system that did not get a tune-up was the smart thermostat. By the end of that day the air quality in our home was high and so was the indoor comfort.
