I’ve decided that it’s time to start cutting back on using so much energy, because it’s really starting to get expensive.
In fact, life is starting to get expensive in general, and I really need to cut costs everywhere. I’m beginning to suspect that my air conditioning system is not running very efficiently, because it seems that it needs to use a whole lot of energy to cool my house when it really shouldn’t. I think I’m just going to start using fans all around the house whenever I need to cool my house down. Using more fans instead of simply lowering the temperature on the thermostat should save me quite a lot of money. However, the truth is, that fall is approaching, and I’m going to need my furnace more than anything. My HVAC technician friend informed me that heating is far more expensive than cooling in this part of the country. I’m going to have to keep that in mind. I think I’m simply going to wear extra layers around the house this winter. I’ll probably be taking a whole lot more naps with my cats, as they seem to generate heat rather well! My HVAC friend also informed me that costs for service visits and installation among other things is going to go way up in the next few months. That’s a shame, because I’m really going to need HVAC service! Oh well, I’ve been looking into getting a roommate and I think I found someone who could really use the help and is trustworthy. He could cut my costs by half, which would be really nice!
