I find it quite difficult to move along with new technology, and I regularly have.
I get so used to the way things are that I do not want to upgrade to this or that thing just because the respected masses say it’s the next best thing since the invention of electricity… This goes triple for myself and others when it comes to keeping up with heating and a/c technology.
I sincerely do not get the whole point of blowing thousands of dollars on all of this advanced heating and a/c equipment, then sure some of it may be better and benefit some people depending on their homes and also their lifestyle… But for myself and others the wonderful old fashioned heating and a/c equipment has been doing myself and others just wonderful all these years and hopefully will continue to do so! I do not know or understand these advanced gadgets such as smart thermostats for instance. To myself and others I see no benefit in them as far as my life is considered. I am alone and am at my condo most of the time. I do not go out to task as I task from home. So the benefit of having more control over your central heating and a/c’s use while away from the condo has no use to myself and others whatsoever. I have a regular old dial thermostat. The most I may ever upgrade to would be a basic digital thermostat, and you will never find myself and others with a smart thermostat or a single of those multi thousand dollar smart heating and also a/cs with the auto air vents! I believe that is just utterly ridiculous.
