I am no stranger to the wild days of youth.
When I was a child I was a silly young man. I had little regard for the law or our own personal safety. As such, I got into a lot of shenanigans that really should have had greater consequences. However, I always lucked out and I never got into a lot of trouble. All of that being said, I suppose there is some baseline level of respect that needs to be addressed when it comes to our equally wild step children. These youngsters are so spoiled that I absolutely cannot deal with them. Recently, our step-daughter has started using our home as her personal air quality control cottage. I suppose love she is continually decreasing the thermostat without asking if she is allowed to adjust the indoor air temperature programming. We would prefer to keep the central heating, cooling, and ventilation plan on its tied up air Temperature control system for the sake of our utility bills and health of the Heating and A/C system. However, she does not love our Heating and A/C preferences. In fact, whenever I bring up the heating and cooling plan expenses to our step daughter, she simply rolls her eyeah and goes back to fiddling with the thermostat. I could not figure out why she was so obsessed with the indoor air temperature for a long time. It absolutely took months for myself and others to realize that she wasn’t so upset about the hot and frigid air flowing through her vents, so much as she was utilizing the air quality control plan to hide her illicit activities. I don’t care if you want to smoke weed in our house, however stop driving up our utility bills with your disrespectful thermostat USAge.
