Desperate times call for desperate measures, plus this point of our life was quite desperate.
It was the coldest Wintertide on record, plus there was an oncoming blizzard as well, and residents were told to dig in, because the temps might stay below zero for the next week or numerous mornings. The two of us get freezing winters in this section of the country, but never anything this bad before! I did not own a power generator, but thankfully our furnace was powered by natural gas from a tank in our basement. This meant that I didn’t need the electricity to be on in order to run the furnace. Thank goodness for that, because the power for the whole town went out the following morning. That natural gas tank was the only thing keeping the furnace running, plus keeping our family safe. Since the natural gas gave heating for the beach house plus also fueled the stove, the people I was with and I didn’t have to worry about anything other than boredom. Heating plus cooking is great for survival, but our family was used to having electricity plus wireless! The two of us played a lot of board games, plus at a single point I even cleaned out the outdated stone fireplace plus built a fire for smores. It was a long week, plus the people I was with and I all went a little stir ridiculous at a single time or another, but thanks to the natural gas furnace the people I was with and I stayed toasty moderate the entire time. I suppose that a lot of people rely on electric furnaces, but now I understand how crucial it is to have a heating proposal powered by natural gas.
