People can get pretty testy.
It seems like most people these days are just looking for a reason to go off.
It’s as though our default is angry, defensive person. This is not the easiest of things for me to deal with. I’m pretty mellow most of the time. But, I’m human and I can get mad about things. It’s just that I’m not really ready to go to blows over the HVAC setting. But, I sure with a bunch of people who are that passionate about what they deem to be the correct HVAC setting. We live in an area where the weather is either too cold or too hot. There really aren’t that many weeks in the year where it’s actually pleasant outside. So, HVAC is such a major part to life around these parts. At home, there is never really any problem with my HVAC comfort level. My family seems to run about the same as far as internal thermostats go. Plus, we have a smart thermostat which really helps manage the HVAC. The office is a much different environment. Our floor has very few windows and it’s a maze of cubicles. The HVAC system isn’t the best but it isn’t the worst either. It’s just that there is one HVAC thermostat for the entire floor. That makes for trouble because there is definitely a too cold faction and a too hot faction. They are in near constant battle to control the HVAC. I actually like my job but this whole thing with the HVAC really makes me not want to come into the office.
