I made a large mistake not getting heated flooring… I decided to rip up plus upgrade the flooring in my home before moving in. I had many weeks to do every room plus I figured if I hustled, I could do it, however my brother was the 1 who mentioned adding radiant heating, he told me I was ripping up the floors anway. I also was adding cement rather than carpet which is better for electric heating. I looked into the cost plus figured the time also spent on a motor step wasn’t worth it. I didn’t want to transfer into my home on a stone board. I also didn’t want to spend double to have heated flooring when I lived down south, and now that the floors are done plus I live in my home, I wish I had this gas furnace, however there are tons of trees blocking the sunshine from coming into my home. That means my rooms are dark plus the cement is chilly cold. The Winter season this year is unusually cold as well. My gas furnace is not keeping up plus I am cold. I frequently have to wear socks plus slippers because of cold feet. The cold cement hurts to step on when I get up to pee at evening. I have started looking into rugs to make it feel warmer. I am covering all my time, effort plus cash due to being cold. If I would have bought heated flooring, that wouldn’t be the case. I would have toasty sizzling feet, no heat rising plus lower energy costs. I should have spent more to acquire more.
